About the artist

Here is how I started out.

My earliest memory was to paint and it has been compulsive ever since. I have a long history of family who displayed, artistic skills, seamstresses, carpenters, glass and leather craftsmen, passing down their knowledge through the generations. Therefore I have found it exciting to stretch and experiment with other mediums in my search (acrylics, oil pastels, watercolours, jewellery and hand crafts).

I achieved a BA(HONS)in Fine Art at the University of Central Lancashire(the first year in Fashion).

My work is constantly and continually evolving, it never stays static. It is built upon, like a story, unravelling before your eyes. Inspiration is seeing colour, shadow and light on dramatic landscapes as well as everyday places.
I've saved, and travelled to all sorts of exciting places, all unique in thier different ways. From Brisbane to Bali, Fiji to Florence, Greece to Granada, Cairns to Carcassonne, Sydney to Singapore, to Venice, New Zealand and Thailand (need to go to another V, N and T to make it rythme).

Now I have two young children who have enhanced my ability to multi-task and to make the most of my time. A definite advantage to direction and motivation.
